Isaiah 29, Understanding

Isaiah 29 – A set of Prophecies

1 Ah, Ariel, Ariel, the city where David encamped! Add ye year to year, let the feasts come round!

Ariel = Lion of G!D, and are David camped. Add ye year to year, … Over time or years will pass maybe In The Future...

ב וַהֲצִיקוֹתִי, לַאֲרִיאֵל; וְהָיְתָה תַאֲנִיָּה וַאֲנִיָּה, וְהָיְתָה לִּי כַּאֲרִיאֵל. 2 Then will I distress Ariel, and there shall be mourning and moaning; and she shall be unto Me as a hearth of God.

In The Future I will distress the City Ariel and she will be to me Ariel(Lion of G!D) The translations of some sections is poorly done, and when looking in various Tanachs you will see this pointed out. I am using MY Understanding of these texts to clarify the prophecies as I understand them. “hearth of G!D” literally reads “Will be Ariel” in the hebrew above. This I translate as “Will be the Lion of G!D” as the name says. So who is the “Lion of G!D”? --At the end.

Chaf Lamed Hay –Genesis 18:21 Destruction?

Chaf Lamed Hay –Genesis 18:21, This has been translated Destruction or Altogether or completed or . . . . I think you get the idea about the word in general. The issue is in specific. This verse in question with the leading verse 20, reads as:

[20 And the LORD said: 'Verily, the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and, verily, their sin is exceeding grievous. 21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto Me; and if not, I will know.'] JPS 1917, reads the same in 1999 version.

Some translation like the Art Scroll -Stone Edition Tanach, adds the words “then Destruction” following the “come unto Me;”.

O.k. big deal, some people think there should be “Destruction” in this verse. Why does it matter?

That is the real question, “Why does it matter?”. I tell you that for the majority of people in the world it does not matter at all. It does matter to me and apparently it matters to some translators. I can not speak for them, only for me and maybe you will find some value in this also.

Idol Worship? –Mourning a building

Idol Worship? –Mourning a building!

Commandment TWO --
Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 4 thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;

We have just completed a day of mourning called the 9th day of Av or Tish B'Av. In thinking about what I am being told to do, I have serious concerns that I may be acting against my soul, in mourning the lose of a building or two and what ever extra events some one wants to attach to this rabbinically commanded Day of Mourning. I the G-D of Abraham, G-D of Isaac, G-D of Jacob commanded this, even then I would need to determine whether this was actually from G-D as it seems to break Law #2.

Why is it so important to have G-D dwell among us?
When G-D declared that HE will not be among the people, but a angel will lead them to the Promised Land, for they are a stiff-necked people. A true mourning happens; [Exodus 33:4 And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned; and no man did put on him his ornaments.] But, why is this important? Moses states it like this; [Exodus 33:16 For wherein now shall it be known that I have found grace in Thy sight, I and Thy people? is it not in that Thou goest with us, so that we are distinguished, I and Thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth?'] --In this way We, you and I can know that we are keeping G-D's law and are Blessed by the Lord G-D most High as his people.

The curse of our schemes.

While I am loath to discuss only a portion of a verse or a few words, but I must start this writing with:

“I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not attended unto My words, and as for My teaching, they have rejected it.”

Looking Back

A Letter from Benjamin Franklin to in nephew Ezra Stiles, 9 March 1790

I believe in one God, creator of the universe. That he governs it by his Providence. That he ought to be worshiped. That the most acceptable service we render to him is doing good to his other children. That the soul of man is immortal, and will be treated with justice in another life respecting its conduct in this. These I take to be the fundamental principles of all sound religion, and I regard them as you do in whatever sect I meet with them.

An AfterWorld

There is an AfterWorld. I use that term because of the question of "Life? ", in what do we mean by Afterlife? The Writings of Moses indicate two views of Life. 1) The dirt which is the body we reside in now, is alive. 2) The Breath of Life, received from G-D in Genesis 2.

The distinctions appear to have been known to the Snake in the Garden of Eden, "Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman: 'Ye shall not surely die; " However death is also known in the Cain and Able story. But G-D does not Lie! "Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine; the soul that sinneth, it shall die. " I use this one from the Tanach because it is openly stated, along with how to fix the problem.

Indirectly we have "Exodus 3:6 Moreover He said: 'I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' " By implication we see that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are alive, when G-D declares 'I am the God of ' instead of (I was the G-D of ...). In verse Exodus 3:15 we see the same statement again in what Moses is to say to the Children of Israel when they ask. But we also see "this is My name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations. "

Conversely, "Numbers 16:33 So they, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit; and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the assembly. " This is the story of Korah, and we see that they "went down alive into the pit ". Obviously this is not the normal way of going to Sheol(the pit, in the translation I used above) " Sheol is found in prophesy about those that do evil, and that G-D enlarged it to accommodate everyone deserving this place.

What we do not get is a picture of what happens when you follow G-D and you are done here. We do have two that did not die. 1) Everybody knows Elijah the Prophet. 2) I have found few that know Enoch, father of Methuselah, also did not for G-D took him. So the reverse of Sheol is told, just not what it looks like.

My observation is that We, all souls are to choose G-D / Not to choose G-D, that is your choice. It seems that this is the primary purpose for creation, any of it. Even back to "Genesis 2:5 No shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground; " creation of the earth waited for us to show up. Yes, someone is to take care of the earth, but robots or animals or the earth could tend the earth. Man is given a "Living Soul ", which is at risk based upon what we do. There is something extremely important about our soul choosing G-D, with all that means. It truly seems to me that there is something really special about that choice, and the outcome of my decisions. Quotes are from the JPS 1917 version of the Tanach. I am sorry that was a little more than 2 cents worth.

It Is Tremendous!

It Is Tremendous!

Those are the words that end the pronouncement by G-D to Moses. In one small verse a covenant is given, a covenant with consequences for today as well as 3,500+ years ago.

In English: Exodus 34:10 And He(G-D) said: 'Behold, I make a covenant; before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD that I am about to do with thee, that it is tremendous.

At this point you might be asking “So what?” First there is no thing that we are to do to make this happen. Another instance like this was the Splitting of the Animals Covenant and the starting point of interest is Genesis 15:13. To paraphrase: Abraham is falling asleep, gets told of events 100-500 years away, then G-D alone goes through the split animals in the form of contract creation of the time, except both parties are to go through in man's version of this deal making. So that contract is upon G-D's performance and not up Abraham's or his offspring's actions. A true one sided deal, but what a price(400 years in country, where they remain strangers, and look at how they left. The world is still talking about it more than 3,500 years later.)

Seeking to understand what took place in Exodus 34:10 the evidence is in pieces across Exodus chapters 33 and 34.

G-D has told Moses in: [Exodus 33:5 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Say unto the children of Israel: Ye are a stiffnecked people; if I go up into the midst of thee for one moment, I shall consume thee; therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.']

The children of Israel mourned at hearing the news. Moses then seeks to intervene on behalf of the Children of Israel, for Moses also knows that G-D's presence is extremely important.

Exodus 33:15 And he(Moses) said unto Him(G-D): 'If Thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. 16 For wherein now shall it be known that I have found grace in Thy sight, I and Thy people? is it not in that Thou goest with us, so that we are distinguished, I and Thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth?'

We need to know where we stand with G-D, so that we may make amends and repair the relationship when we have sinned. Moses has correctly described the need to know where we stand with G-D.

Now Moses goes up to Mt. Sinai to replace the tablets which Moses broke during the Golden Calf incident and to plead with G-D not to continue to be angry with the Hebrews over the incident.

Exodus 34:9 And he(Moses) said: 'If now I have found grace in Thy sight, O Lord, let the Lord, I pray Thee, go in the midst of us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Thine inheritance.'

My comments are in italics below:
The response is: 10) And He(G-D) said: 'Behold, I make a covenant; before all thy people I will do
G-D makes a commitment/ I will do marvels so your people will see/
marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among
These marvels will be unkown any where upon the earth/ The Marvels will be wintessed by all people
which thou art shall see the work of the LORD that I am about to do with thee, that it is tremendous.
Where ever you are/ The marvels will be tremendous.
I have tried to high lite the points in the verse, in the form of “what is taking place here” in the text and in the deal.

Art Scroll's Chumash reports that the Ramban declares that 'marvels' here can not mean 'marvels' as they are normally meant, for after what has just happened to Egypt and Pharoah, and there is no events in history(upto his time) compare to those see in the Exodus from Egypt. This must mean 'distinctions' not 'marvels'.

I of course do not agree with the Ramban, G-D can do anything. HE made light. O.k. There must be other prophesies that will back this up. Let me see what I can come up with.

[Number 16:28) And Moses said: 'Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works, and that I have not done them of mine own mind. 29) If these men die the common death of all men, and be visited after the visitation of all men, then the LORD hath not sent Me. 30) But if the LORD make a new thing, and the ground open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down alive into the pit, then ye shall understand that these men have despised the LORD.' 31) And it came to pass, as he made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground did cleave asunder that was under them. 32) And the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. 33) So they, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit; and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the assembly.] That should qualify as one event. There are more I am sure.

That was tremendous in action and power, also called into existence at the moment. If however there is someone that suggests that Moses or anyone could know how that the earth was going to perform such an action, then maneuvered the Korah and his crowd to just the right spot, got them to hold still for all of this, I am positive that would be even more marvelous than crediting G-D with fulfilling exactly what Moses spoke. It would also be a lot more dangerous, then to challenge Moses' word. We do not learn or more to the point they(the supports of Korah) did not learn for the confronted Moses and Arron the next day, where G-D rises to the occasion again and sends a plague among the Children of Israel. The result is: [Number 17:14 Now they that died by the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides them that died about the matter of Korah.] This would not have been all that died if Moses and Arron had not interceded on behalf of the Congregation.

There is more to come that has not been see upon the earth, nor by any people of the earth at anytime.

It began here!

2,300+ years of rewriting and we are ???

Let me be explicit in my words. I have searched for the truth for 50 years and I have learned that anytime someone feels that they need to make excuses or perform rewrites, they do not believe what was written. In science this is O.K. because, science is attempting to describe what has been observed to be happening in a way that can predict subsequent events. Because of this an if Apple falls for a certain period of time, we can calculate the distance of the fall. When a theory does not produce the expected answer, the theory is modified or replaced.

To me the Word of G-D is not theory. It is Truth, Fact, the LAW. Not one word will go unfulfilled before the Last DAY. As many appear to believe differently, you can win me over by doing what I have not been able to do. This: Where in the Written Torah, the Writings of Moses, did G-D lie; change the Law(not what we perceive as adding to the law); did not in fact perform what HE Promised? Prove to me this, and there will be reason to not consider G-D's Word to be FACT.

Rather I have discovered that it is we that are failing. We fail to understand what is before us in writing. We we are ourselves are proof(the witnesses of G-D) to be true. Yet instead of seeking to understand the Law as G-D gave it to Moses to be written, we spend mountains of documentation about we someone else has thought and said. For all of the time since Moses and the departure from Egypt we have not been able to see our G-D taking care of us. We can not hear the truth in the Laws Moses Wrote. Instead we seek a Korah that will lead us instead of G-D, and we continue to suffer under the promises of Leviticus 26, and Deuteronomy 28 & 29. For some this seems o.k., it is our tradition. A tradition of pain, suffering and humiliation at our own hands, for we can stop this ourselves, by returning to the G-D of our Fathers. All of this is in the Written Torah, that so many refuse to accept or follow. This time the punishment will be the worst.

Think about it, ...We can physically go around the world in less than 18 minutes. We can talk to almost anyplace on earth. We can destroy thousands of miles of earth in moments using atomic power and make it unusable for decades without any life. Last there are Billions of people filling the earth to over flowing so that water, food are scares in many places. The Nations of the World are lining up against the Land of Israel, which could disappear in a flash of atomic light in seconds. The Land of Israel is G-D's Own, and we are only allowed to reside when we follow HIS Law. I don't believe that we have been even trying to know HIS Law, let alone to truly follow HIS Law, but G-D says we will finally turn back and declare HIM KING and Follow HIS Law. This is also from the Written Torah, where HIS Promises are recorded. We are HIS Witnesses, to the totality of MANKIND!

Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse; and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.' --to Abram.
Genesis 28:13 And, behold, the LORD stood beside him, and said: 'I am the LORD, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac. The land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed. --To Yaakov.

A rebuttal to someone in Israel.

This is from a forum in Israel that I input on. It would not be right for me to give the other side text, as I do not have rights to it.
But His was in reference to my next post.

Here is my reply.
+++++++
By your opening line, I take it that you do not believe G-D. Or that you have reason to believe that HE Does not mean what has been spoken in HIS Name. Please enlighten me as regards your evidence for such statements that is sounds to Xtian: "Not one word will go unfulfilled before the Last DAY."

Do you not read Isaiah 40:5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.' Or 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth; but the word of our God shall stand for ever.'

Or maybe you think it a small thing to challenge the Writings of Moses, Numbers 12:”6 And HE said: 'Hear now My words: if there be a prophet among you, I the LORD do make Myself known unto him in a vision, I do speak with him in a dream.7) My servant Moses is not so; he is trusted in all My house; 8) with him do I speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD doth he behold; wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against My servant, against Moses?' 9) And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and He departed.”

Or maybe you know the 70 elders hiding in the Temple that G-D shows to Ezekiel, given as One of the reasons for G-D to LEAVE the TEMPLE and destroy it. Ezekiel “8:11 And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, every man with his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.”

How about Isaiah 29:”13 And the Lord said: Forasmuch as this people draw near, and with their mouth and with their lips do honour Me, but have removed their heart far from Me, and their fear of Me is a commandment of men learned by rote;”

Maybe Isaiah 48:”1) Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the fountain of Judah; who swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.  3) I have declared the former things from of old; yea, they went forth out of My mouth, and I announced them; suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.  5) Therefore I have declared it to thee from of old; before it came to pass I announced it to thee; lest thou shouldest say: 'Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.'  6) Thou hast heard, see, all this; and ye, will ye not declare it? I have announced unto thee new things from this time, even hidden things, which thou hast not known.  7) They are created now, and not from of old, and before this day thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say: 'Behold, I knew them.'  8) Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from of old thine ear was not opened; for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.  18) Oh that thou wouldest hearken to My commandments! then would thy peace be as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea;  19 Thy seed also would be as the sand, and the offspring of thy body like the grains thereof; his name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before Me. .....”

Maybe this is too hard to understand. How about the Last Prophet Malachi.

Malachi 3:4) Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in ancient years.  5) And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers; and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not Me, saith the LORD of hosts.  6) For I the LORD change not; and ye, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. 7) From the days of your fathers ye have turned aside from Mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto Me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye say: 'Wherein shall we return?'  22) Remember ye the law of Moses My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.

What did Moses get on Mt. Horeb? Exodus 24:4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the mount, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
7) And he(Moses) took the book of the covenant, and read in the hearing of the people; and they said: 'All that the LORD hath spoken will we do, and obey.' --A written Contract with G-D and Israel

Maybe that will get the point through, maybe not. ---Moving on.

Your fourth paragraph(from Exodus 11) concerns the statements and advice of Jethro, Moses's Father in-law, not G-D. And this advice is to arrange the people in to military order. The 70 Elders are later, also they fail even the first time of test, when they did not support G-D and the LAW that was already accepted by the people in Exodus 19:8 And all the people answered together, and said: 'All that the LORD hath spoken we will do.' And Moses reported the words of the people unto the LORD., then twice in Exodus 24, first in  3) And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said: 'All the words which the LORD hath spoken will we do.'  4) And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the mount, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. Then again in  7) And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the hearing of the people; and they said: 'All that the LORD hath spoken will we do, and obey.'

Law One Exodus 20:2) I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

Law Two Exodus 20:3) Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 4) thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;

What was G-D's complaint to Moses? Exodus 32:7 And the LORD spoke unto Moses: 'Go, get thee down; for thy people, that thou broughtest up out of the land of Egypt, have dealt corruptly; 8) they have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed unto it, and said: This is thy god, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.' --Where were the 70 then? How about the ones Jethro suggested?

33) And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Whosoever hath sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My book.

I know that this is long, but if I just give the references you might look them up, but there are others who will read this and they need to know. This is not all of the evidence that G-D commanded Moses and no other, even to the point of having Moses write it down. The references in the Tanach(Old Testament) are many for the case of Moses' Writings and the importance of them to us.

Need to be a Jew or a Child of the Tribe of Israel?

I find no covenant with G-D that was made only with Jews. The Children of Israel, YES! But, I have found no covenant made exclusively with Jews.

There is the Conversion of the Stranger in Your Midst in Exodus 12:47) All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. 48) And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land; but no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. 49)One law shall be to him that is home born, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.' --JPS1917 Translation.

As I read this,Only the Congregation of Israel(Children) may partake in the Passover Offering(a Feast unto Our LORD). Yet, the stranger that keeps G-D's Law and is circumcised, is to be accepted as one that is born in the land (a Child of Israel) and is required by Law to Keep the Passover along with all other Commandments.--See the Writings of Moses for all the details.

In order for me to understand this, as one that strives to Keep G-D's Law, the other component is Circumcision. What does that mean, being circumcised. (Genesis 17:7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.) --That is the deal that the circumcision is a sign of. Specifically, "to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee. "

I choose G-D as my G-D and HE Agrees to be my G-D. When I agree to that, having put the sign of that deal in my flesh, I am a Child of Israel, before G_D. Man plays other games concerning who is and who is not, but they are not binding upon the G-D of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I accept the word of G-D above all others.

A New Understanding . . . .

Over the centuries, those that have considered the prophesies regarding the “End Days” have been concerned with G-D's wrath and why HE punishes all the earth.

I to have been concerned about Numbers 26 and Deuteronomy chapters 28 -30. Blessing and curses are that are presented there, but not just there. There are blessings and curses throughout the Tanach(Old Testament) about what happens when we turn away from the G-D of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the Laws and Teachings HE put forth in the Writings of Moses.

A new understanding has occurred to me regarding these Blessings and Curses. First I must lay a framework of understanding: That Humans have no way to understand that which is outside of our knowledge or reference. So to understand G-D, who is outside our universe as well as in it, “Let there be light” or Big Bang Theory?, human reference is from our theories and observations that came after that event.

Please bare with me, because I know you have been taught other things and have different thoughts about the subject. Let it be that this is a lecture and that it will make sense to you in the end, otherwise send a reply or submit an comment.

Does God Exist?

Does God Exist? Debated by Rabbi David Wolpe, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris on
http://www.jewishtvnetwork.com

My introduction to this website and series of media shows, was by a friend after she and I discussed Trust in God and prayer. I of course do not have access to debate these people so I will give my answers and observations of those that were involved.

First I notice that the discussions revolve around faith, belief, feeling, emotions and psychological ideas. A very little Talmud and Misha are included. Those participating are a Rabbi of the Reform Movement and two atheist authors which have sold a number of books.

The Reform Rabbi Wolpe does not present the Writings of Moses, or personal understanding of GOD, nor any fact based defense or evidence.

Christopher Hitchens, it seems to me, does not actually hate GOD (he does not seem to know anything about GOD) he does hate RELIGION. Christian, Jewish, Islam, and all other religions because they are man made efforts to find comfort and reason.

In what ways are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam alike?

=============================================================
In what ways are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam alike?
=============================================================

-------------------------------------------------------------
1 They lead away from GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
-------------------------------------------------------------

The New Testament teaches against G-D's laws given to Moses.
An example:(Acts 21:21) And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest
all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that
they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the
customs.

Other issues and examples would be that G-D called only once to Abraham in
(Genesis 22:2) And He said: 'Take now thy son, thine only son, whom thou lovest,
even Isaac, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a
burnt-offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.' --This offering
was not allowed by GOD even once. This was a test specifically for Abraham, to
shown that he would perform whatever the LORD GOD would ask of him(Abraham)
and test of trust by GOD.
(see http://truthintorah.blogspot.com/2011/02/this-is-test-will-you-pass.html for additional reading)

A sin sacrifice of any human has never been asked for or condoned by GOD.
Sacrifice by the sinner I acceptable by GOD since Exodus to repent for sins, so
it not possible that human being could be sacrificed 1985 years ago for anyone
and would be a abhorrent act to the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac and the
GOD of Jacob.

"Judge not, that you be not judged"

"Judge not, that you be not judged" This is a quote from Matthew 7:1, King James Bible, part of the Sermon on the mount.

It is also used by many to be open hearted to evil doers and is in my opinion completely against the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac and the GOD of Jacob, for all of the following reasons.

You must judge, and you judge yourself FIRST! Maybe the issue is the word JUDGE. For me to judge, a verb, means to determine right from wrong in any circumstance.

Webster's Dictionary on-line states: Definition of JUDGE; transitive verb 1: to form an opinion about through careful weighing of evidence and testing of premises.

Dictionary.com (American Heritage Dictionary) Definition of JUDGE; transitive verb; 8. to form a judgment or opinion of; decide upon critically.

Blind? Maybe!

I watched a movie recently called "Knowing", in which a fifth grader(?), places a piece of paper, covered with rows of numbers, in the school's time capsule in 1959. When fifty years later the capsule opened, another fifth grader receives the sealed envelope with the paper inside. It is learned that this paper's numbers are dates, locations and number of dead since 1959. This paper is discussed with science scholars, where every set of numbers turned out to be TRUE.

Prophecy - a database of information

Shalom, Shalom, May the G-D Most High, The G-D of Abraham, G-D of Issac, G-D of Jacob bless you with peace this day, may it be HIS WILL to Open our eyes to know, Un-stop our ears that we may perceive and remove the cloud from our minds that we may understand, thereby allowing us to Return to G-D and Repeat for our deeds before it is too late. --Amen

“The Lord(Adonai) is my shepherd, I shall not want. . . .”

In Psalm 23, King David declares “The Lord(Adonai) is my shepherd, I shall not want. . . .”

This phrase is one of the most well known in all of the world. King David(probably written when he was a young shepherd himself) demonstrates what we should expect from our leaders. First from our religious leaders which are to lead us to King David's Shepard(G-D). Then if we as a people allow ruler to lead us, we set and uphold how our leaders should treat us.

I am not speaking or writing about politics here, I only present that we should require our leaders to be shepherds also. Back to the real intent here: Our religious leaders! In truth, no matter what religion you follow or contemplate, we must expect these leaders to show us how to find a higher spiritual existence. This means for most people on earth, that high existence is GOD.

This is a TEST.....! Will you pass?

We, everyone of us is tested by The Creator of the Heavens and Earth. For me this statement goes without any further question. A rich person, one that inherited the family's wealth built over generations, seams to have a life of ease, yet bored, anger, frustration, misdeeds, . . . . . plague that life.

Every decision or choice we make which involves the Laws and Teachings given by G-D, is either for or against G-D. It does not matter whether or not you know these Laws and Teachings found in the Writings of Moses, you and I are accountable to G-D

Justice versus Social Justice.

Wikipeida presents: “Social justice generally refers to the idea of creating an egalitarian society or institution that is based on the principles of equality and solidarity, that understands and values human rights, and that recognizes the dignity of every human being.[1][2] The term and modern concept of "social justice" was coined by the Jesuit Luigi Taparelli in 1840 based on the teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas and given further exposure in 1848 by Antonio Rosmini-Serbati ….”

Generally this means equality for all and on all levels, Religious, Moral, Ethical, Mental, Physical, Social, Financial, Health, Happiness, Life experience, Love, Sex, Desire,.... Or put another way: The murderer of 10,000 people is equivalent to a humble, respectfully, family doctor that heals the sick and tends the wounded, accepting only food and clothing only to sustain life. --This is a farce, a lie, an act of control designed to control the masses, which stupidly accept this rhetoric, becoming slaves to the tyrants who espouse such speech.

Justice, justice shall you follow(persue)...., this is not the same as social justice. Geneseis 18:19 For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which He hath spoken of him.'

This is a great place to start discovering Justice –The Writings of Moses or the Five Books of Moses, or the Written Torah. This I believe to be the most precise text of what G-D wants from us, because “Numbers 12:6 He(G-D) said: 'Hear now My words: if there be a prophet among you, I the LORD do make Myself known unto him in a vision, I do speak with him in a dream. 7 My servant Moses is not so; he is trusted in all My house; 8 with him do I speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD doth he behold;...” Hence no person of this earth has better knowledge of what G-D wants from us than Moses. What happens to those that challenge Moses's? “...wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against My servant, against Moses?' 9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and He departed.” This I make as a declaration for why I talk about Justice first in the Written Torah and then the Tanach(Other writings found in the Old Testament.)

Deuteronomy 32:4 “The Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are justice; a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is He.”

Exodus 23:2 “Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou bear witness in a cause to turn aside after a multitude to pervert justice;”

Deuteronomy 16:20 “Justice, justice shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”

Throughout the Written Torah we are presented with examples of justice and in-justice. From Exodus Chapter 20 until the end of Deuteronomy, we are given the Covenant twice and better explanations or examples of of the Law in corporate in the Covenant, many times. Justice is living according to all of G-D's Laws and his teachings. It is not I will take this piece and that piece and call it justice or more presicely “Social Justice” which is not JUST AT ALL.

--Note: If you have not read or heard my words regarding the pains I take to define the text I am discussing before. Please let me explain what I just wrote. The Writings of Moses are the first five books of the Bible, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy and nothing else. These I believe to be Authored by The G-D of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and written down by Moses himself. In the Jewish world, the Oral Torah(Mishna), the commentaries of the Talmuds(Jerusalem and Babylonian) and the Gemara(commentary of the Oral Torah) are sometimes included in the discussion of the Torah(The meaning of the word is therefore "teaching," "doctrine," or "instruction").

Shalom, Shabbat Shalom,

Yaakov

How important is 'Trust in G-D' to us?

This one thing seems to be on a scale of 1==lowest importance to 10 ==highest importance, a 9.99. I take that the Ten Commandments that G-D stated HIMSELF in Exodus 20, to be absolute TEN's, and Trust in G-D is follows closely on those.

What I mean to say is that, we are continually tested to strengthen our TRUST. Trust in my definintion is: "Trust, verb. Having full confidence that the Object(the one receiving the trust) has demonstrated completely the reliability and security which is expected, which was well placed and deserved. In short, without evidence that one can reliably trust, one is only acting on faith.

We can, have and do break faith with G-D. This is where G-D accepted our word and we were not trust worthy, did not do as we declared we would do. On the hand, G-D has never broken faith with man, therefore G-D is trust worthy for HIS Names Sake.

Examples of trust(paraphrased): Genesis 12, G-D tells Abram(age 75) to leave all that he knows and go to a new place that G-D will show him. For this G-D declares certain blessings. Abram does not negotiate or question, he simple does what G-D has said to do. --This is an act of faith because Abram has no evidence upon which to trust that what G-D declared will be. Abram goes to Egypt, saying that Sari was his sister to save his life. G-D makes Pharaoh so sick that he can not touch Sari and his wise men determine that Abram's G-D has done this thing. Pharaoh sends them both out with slaves and wealth. Genesis 14: When Abram takes his few men and some friends to defeat the four kings that took all valuables from Sodom and Gomorrah, including Lott(Abram's nephew) and his all possessions, Melchizedek king of Salem, meets Abram and reminds him that the G-D Most High gave the victories to Abram. Abram then meets the King of Sodom and declares (22 &23) 'I have lifted up my hand unto the LORD, God Most High, Maker of heaven and earth, that I will not take a thread nor a shoe-latchet nor aught that is thine, lest thou shouldest say: I have made Abram rich;" Then G-D visits Abram in a dream and says 'Fear not, Abram, I am thy shield, thy reward shall be exceeding great.' And he believed in the LORD; and HE counted it to him for righteousness. Now I will jump past lots of Trust and Non-Trust of Abram who became Abraham, to the Binding of Issac, Genesis 22. Abraham is now about 113 years of age, God says 'Take now thy son, thine only son, whom thou lovest, even Isaac, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt-offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.' Abraham no longer questions, negotiates or complains, he just does as he is told by G-D. This seems to have been the last TEST of Abraham, for he lived to be 175 years old, he had another wife after Sarah dies with five more children. The last Test was an act of TRUST in G-D, for Abraham had evidence from his own life that showed that GOD is Trustworthy.

Moses, who had many times been defended by G-D when Moses did nothing to defend himself, got in trouble at the Rock(Numbers 20), LORD said unto Moses and Aaron: 'Because ye believed not in Me....' the word in the JPS 1917 version is translated 'believed' is also translated as 'TRUST' and is a truer translation based on the usage in verse 12. This is also true in that Moses had every reason not to be upset by what the Children of Israel said, for G-D had always defended Moses. Yet in this case Moses's temper flares and he can only think to say (verse 10) 'Hear now, ye rebels; are we to bring you forth water out of this rock?' instead of giving G-D the glory. Trust would have kept (Numbers 12:3)'Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men that were upon the face of the earth.' Meek or Humble, are possible translations of the word used.

Last, I give you Trust in Action. II Samuel 10:9 ..."when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Arameans; 10 and the rest of the people he committed into the hand of Abishai his brother, and he put them in array against the children of Ammon. 11 And he said: 'If the Arameans be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me, but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will come and help thee. 12 Be of good courage, and let us prove strong for our people, and for the cities of our God; and the LORD do that which seemeth Him good.'--The result Joab's declaration was: 13 So Joab and the people that were with him drew nigh unto the battle against the Arameans; and they fled before him. -- A very good read if you would like some additional information about this event, try II Samuel Chapter 10.

When we act righteously according to G-D's Law, Deuteronomy 30:9 "And the LORD thy God will make thee over-abundant in all the work of thy hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good; for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as He rejoiced over thy fathers; 10 if thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law; if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul."

Shalom, Shalom
